Surah Nuh ( Surah 71)
Surah Nuh consists of 28 verses and it was revealed in Mecca.

Surah Nuh was revealed in Makkah when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his followers were facing severe persecution from the Quraysh. It served as a lesson and encouragement by recounting how Prophet Nuh spent centuries calling his people to Allah but was met with stubborn rejection.
The surah reminded the Prophet (PBUH) that rejection and opposition are part of a messenger’s journey and that, ultimately, the disbelievers will face destruction while the believers will be saved.

Prophet Nuh’s Mission and Patience
Nuh spent 950 years preaching to his people, calling them to worship one true God (Tawheed).
He used different methods—public preaching, private conversations, reasoning, and warnings—but they mocked and rejected him.
His people persisted in idol worship, following corrupt leaders.
